Mabuhay!
As we approach the remarkable occasion of our society’s 65th anniversary next year, I am filled with profound gratitude and honor to serve as your President. This significant milestone is not just a testament to the enduring legacy of excellence and dedication each of you has contributed to our field, but also a celebration of your personal achievements that have shaped our society.
The “PSG: Road to 65” is a celebration of our collective success, our rich history that brought PSG to where it stands today. PSG, with its component societies, the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy and Hepatology Society of the Philippines, shines as a beacon of excellence, committed to advancing the science, practice, and education of Gastroenterology in the Philippines. Our collective efforts have propelled our society to the forefront of gastroenterology, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standards of treatment and care.
Over the past decades, we have navigated challenges, achieved significant milestones, and built invaluable connections within our community.
Looking ahead, we must continue building on the robust foundation laid by our predecessors. We will pass on the legacy to the next generation of PSG members as we dedicate our efforts to developing competent gastroenterologists, upgrading their knowledge, and enhancing their skills to adapt to changing times and situations. Together, let us embrace innovation, nurture collaboration, and uphold the highest patient care and professionalism standards.
In the spirit of the PSG anniversary, I urge you to actively engage in the PSG’s programs and initiatives. Your involvement is the heartbeat of PSG’s vibrant future.
As we commemorate the “PSG: Road to 65”, let us renew our commitment to excellence, compassion, and integrity that define our work and make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our fellow Filipinos.
On behalf of the PSG Board, I thank you for your dedication, passion, and unwavering support. It is indeed a true honor to serve you, and I am inspired to lead our society into this celebratory year toward our 65th anniversary.
