PSG President Inspects Handwashing Stations Project in Cebu

Philippine Society of Gastroenterology (PSG) President Dr. Felipe Gozar Duque inspected the construction of the handwashing stations in Naga City, Cebu last October 29, 2019. Dr. Duque was accompanied by PSG Treasurer Dr. Teresita Cabreira.The “Malinis na Kamay, Malusog na Buhay” Handwashing Stations Project is being implemented for the benefit of students and teachers affected by the landslide that occurred in Naga City on September 20, 2018. Project beneficiaries are the Naga Central Elementary School and Naga National High School. The construction of the handwashing stations is being financed through a donation from Dr. Kentaro Sugano, President of the Asian Pacific Association of Gastroenterology (APAGE). Dr. Sugano made the donation during the APAGE 3rd Clinical Forum on Inflammatory Bowel Disease held in Cebu City on September 20-22, 2018. The PSG is supervising the project implementation in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Cebu Naga Central headed by its President Engr. Danilo Antonio.
